As a Volunteer
Time on your hands…..retirement looming……Duke of Edinburgh award hours needed?
What can we say. A charity is here ready and waiting for you to give us your time.
We have many skills that we need to tap into and you may be the person who has them.
We have opportunities for all age groups, both male and female.
Painters and decorators, gardeners, drivers, shop assistants, ebay experts, budding journalists or even retired journalists, photographers….well the list is endless. You tell us your skill and we can see if we are able to make use of it.
The time which you give to the hospice can be as little or as much as you like – it does not have to be during office hours it can be after normal hours and at weekends. So if you are holding down a full time job but would still like to do something in your spare time for a very good cause then contact us.
We currently have around 100 people across the county working in a voluntary capacity for the Hospice, so you will not be alone.
We have recently started recruiting people to work directly with patients and their families in a voluntary capacity. For information on these projects visit, complementary therapies and vounteer visitors, these projects are led by members of the clinical team.
For all non-clinical voluntary work then contact the Hospice Director.
